Just got my car back from being dynod/retuned. Before the Livernois PI Intake Swap Kit, I was making 314rwhp, and 356tq. After, I am now at 343rwhp, 365tq. The car pulls great up top now. Next will be a FMIC, Vortech Mini Race Bypass Valve, and possibly a smaller pulley.
Can you just do the PI intake swap with out putting the PI heads i know by putting the heads and the intake it would be more horsepower than 30 right but can u just put the intake with out the heads and will it work with the non PI heads
See i told you that you would get atleast 30rwhp from the intake, now you can tell all those clowns on MustangForums to STFU. :hammer: Now you need some blower cams.
nice numbers, did you do the swap yourself or did you take it to someone, if you took it to someone how much did you pay for installation?
UH OH Now you are addicted and will soon have a built shortblock and 15lbs of boost :dancing6: How is Dwaynes (big daddys) shop treating you?
The shop is a little pricey, but now that I've gone there for some projects for them to do I will never take my car to somebody else again. The guys there are great and they really know their stuff.
I stopped in this shop yesterday to check it out and order some parts (Joe Heck Racing) and its a nice place. I talked with Joe Amato and he was a cool guy.
hmmm...i can't say that i know Joe. if you wanted to talk to somebody about modulars definately talk to Mike, the main mechanic. The guy really really knows his stuff. What all did you order?? Did you see the couple cobras/notches in the shop?? pretty nasty huh?
Joe is the owner, he's from Downs Ford...I was only ordering some emblems and they are the only distributor in NJ that sells the ones i wanted and since i was down the shore in that area so i popped in to order them.
Nice #'s man! I don't think my pi intake add as much b/c I don't have the adapter plates. I deff gained some seat of the pants feel but I don't think it was that much. I installed mine before they came out with the kits and adapter plates.
