New Pics *Polished my gas tank straps too*

Well I never thought I would bump my head on my exhaust so many times :lol: It was a pretty easy mod. I went to the local auto store and picked up sand paper. I went 180, 240, 400, 600, 800 and 1500 to finish. Took me about 45 minitues.

It looks much better in real life... Its pretty shiney... these pics make it look duller than it is for some reason

yeah ive been wanting to do this too.. i spent about 2.5 hours on my tailpipes.. those are alot smaller though so i imagine it wouldn't take quite as long.. just gonna suck being up under the car like that doing nothing but polishing and sanding.. looks like it definitely payed off for you though, ill be doing this thursday after school or saturday since i dont work.. looks great man!

i just noticed how big of a sucker i am for cobra bumpers, it looks good on the six O0

That is exactly what I wanted to do, then I decided to do this instead.

But, now I have the polished SSInserts, so maybe polished is the way
to go now.

i was curious if polishing it down bare like that would make it rust...i like the way it looks but i live in michigan ....my cars done see winter driving but just want to be safe

That is one of the few reasons why I did not polish it. I live in MN and it does not
see rain / snow, but even moisture in the air could rust it. I'm sure something to
prevent rust, I just didn't feel like dealing with it at that time.
