In July 2014, I sold my long term TTSaleen project.
I had that car for 12 years and it went thru a ton of changes over the years.

I have a new project now and getting back to basics.

Quick snapshot of car -
2003 Torch Red Mach 1
Automatic
39,000 miles
Was stock except for a few items such as high-flow catted x-pipe and magnaflow exhaust.
MRT hood shocks

With the help of Fastlane Motorsports, I've added the following parts to it -
Ford Racing 4.10 gears
Fastlane Motorsports custom tune using XCAL4
Accufab throttle body
JLT Next Gen Cold Air Kit
Raceland coil over kit (rear)
UPR coil over kit (front) with 175# springs
Ceramic brake pads
Chrome Saleen 18-9" front and 18-10" rear wheels
Toyo Proxes-1 265-35-18 front tires and Proxes R888 305-35-18 rear tires
Black locking lug nuts
Smoked headlights
8,000K HID headlight and fog light bulbs
20% tinted windows

I've got these items awaiting installation -
CNC ported 04 Cobra heads
Crower Stage 2 camshafts
Comp Cams adjustable cam gears
MAC 1-5/8" long tube headers
MAC off-road pro-chamber mid-pipe
Nitrous Express wet kit

Due to the stock crank being cast (in automatic cars), I have to keep the horsepower under 500rwhp to make it live.
Eventually, I plan to pull the engine, forge it out, and add some boost.

For now, it's an absolute blast to drive and looks killer.
Here's a few shots of the progress.

I wouldn't fear pushing the cast crank over 500. HP doesn't kill cast cranks, rpm does. Plenty of people with "budget" motors using cast cranks in the 6-700 rwhp range.

What size front springs do you have, 12 or 14 inch? And pings and pops and creeks from them?

And lastly, pressure wash out the inside of those longtubes really well, especially in the egr tube. Mac longtubes have been known to have slag inside from welding get sucked into the motor and kill cylinders.

14" 175# front springs.
No pops, creeks, or anything. Nice stuff.
Thanks for the heads-up on the headers!!

I was combing Autotrader and Craigslist looking at Mach's last night. They are very affordable now and some of them are cheaper than a similar mileage Bullitt which is surprising.

I could see myself owning an AB Mach 1 with an IRS swap :)

I almost got a Sterling Grey mach 1, but then I bought a 2v.....still kind of wish I had a mach.

I hate how in some places the value is 8-9k, but in my area the value is 12-14k. Easy way to make $$$ for sure.. But I hate when some douche calls me from another state and tells me the value of my car based off the 120+ miles Machs in his area :deeplist:

My brother in law, Senior Chief Morrison on the USS Fort McHenry, challenged me today to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

www.alsa.org

I gladly accepted the challenge, and in turn called out the crew that had originally challenged him.

L O L.

That's his 2008 black mustang behind me.
I've been detailing that car for the last 2 days.
Project video and pics coming soon.

Enjoy.

Always love your work, so I'm excited to see this :D

My wants for this car?
Well let's say a VMP TVS blower on top of a built engine with choppy camshafts would be a good start!!!!!

LOL!!
