My side windows were scratched up pretty bad, so while I had the car at the paint shop I had them replaced along with new door belt moldings. I had originally ordered the moldings from American muscle. They called me and told me the moldings were too tight. So they went ahead and ordered the oems from ford. They are too tight too.
The windows went down really fast before, now they really creep down. The drivers side has the auto let down feature and it worked perfectly before, and now it stops half way. And on the passenger side when you let the window up it actually lifts the belt molding up a little bit.
Do you guys think this will wear out the motors really fast, the molding will eventually stretch to fit the windows or what?
What would you do about this?
