New to me Opal Frost mustang!

Hey everyone! I haven't owned a Mustang for a decade plus and just picked up this beauty Monday! It's a 96 GT in the Opal Frost color. 100% stock besides the wheel, and only 64k miles on her! Anyone know how I can figure out how many convertibles they made in this color? Thanks!

Mustang sales growth stalled in 1996 after two years of growth in prior years. Sales fell 27% versus 1995, to 135,620 units.

So following the numbers, there was roughly what? 3.5% of the total mustangs painted in opal frost? Following that trend/assumption thatd put it at around 537 convertible opal frosts?

Welcome! Where in Michigan do you hail from? I have a 1996 GT Convertible as well, but it was a import from So-Cal, so never seen snow/ice/salt. Most of the cars delivered in Michigan rusting away for sure.

also have to keep in mind how many are at the junk yard and have been wrecked
you will have lower numbers mabe

Welcome! Cool color, Ford used a few one off colors in the 90s. Pretty neat to see some still on the road.

Thanks yeah I dig it, its kinda hard to tell if it's blue or silver or grey and that's what I love lol

I'm from the capital region, and surprisingly this car came from Indiana, I'm only the 3rd owner too!
