my mods are jlt intake, shorty headers, upr x pipe catless, slp catback, 75mmt/b and plenum, 3olbs injectors, sct xcal2, motoblue underdrive pullies, comp cams 262 my best was a 13.840 @1oomph, on street tires at 28psi, with a 2.2o 60ft
great job! Can you post the full time, I was wondering about 1/8 mile et and mph. Have you had it tuned or dynoed?
reaction; .159 60ft: 2.201 i2: 5.881 i3: 8.967 1/2 trak mph: 79.534 i4:11.600 e.t: 13.840 @ 100.089 dyno was at 260hp and 315tq
30 lbs are actually perfect for the car and give a little room for a few mods. Most people use 24lbs and max them out. there is a formula to help find injectors size but I am not sure where? You only want to use about 85% of the injectors.
yea is still the npi heads and still npi manifold, and no gears, when i saw those numbers that my car pushed out i was like " no way that can't be possible" cause i thought it was going to hit about 235 to 245hp, even the guys at dyno were suprised by how much it made for a none pi motor.... hopefully when a get the pi manifold and 90mm mass flow i well be at 275hp
You should be good with the stock MAF. youre not pushing enough power to necesitate the need for a 90mm maf.
yea pretty much when i did the cam swap it felt like a whole different machine i had a lot more top end, not like it was before were it started going down on the power at 4500 rpm... well injectors the guy that dynoed my car he said that he was going to max out my injectors by making them work at a 100% duty cycle because of the cams, if i just had my bolt ons it would've be fine... that's what he said, so did it
the cams that u used, are they the entry level cam for comp or are they a couple notches up. I've been trying to decide between putting pi cams in or bumping it up a notch. If those are the entry cams by comp, i think I might use them. I think PI intake, those cams, 75 tb n plenum, with the jlt will make my car breath real nicely in the upper rpms. I have a feeling with gears and control arms i'll be able to touch low 13's.
good times, those 30s ARE high unless you plan on doing some more mods in the near future. But I agree if you are planning on something else, those 30s are fine
I still have the stock 19's and I have the p1sc with the fmu. I can prob do alot better with dropping the fmu and going with bigger injectors but back when I bought the kit I didn't know to much about this, and now I am waiting until I build my pi motor before I spend any more mod money on the stock motor.
there the stage one comp cams, if u go with stage 2 do some mild porting to your heads so you can benefit the full potenial of the cams
Very nice driving juding by those times. When you get the P.I. intake your times will be even better. Just curious, what's your gas mileage with those cams? Oh, and nice choice with the SLP. >
19lb injectors? You must have bought your ps-1 used then cause the kit comes with 42lbers. I didnt think you could even run it with 19's :dunno:
