New to the forum 95 GT Vert

Hello everyone. I’m new to the forum and to Mustangs. Though my brother owns 2 Sn95 Cobras I’ve never owned one before. I happened upon a completely stock 95 GT Convertible with 12K miles and thought my wife would disapprove and was surprised when she said go for it so I did!

I’m sure this forum will be handy going forward. I’ve already replaced 3 out of 4 window motors and I’ve had the car for a month lol. Thanks for all the good info.

Yes it does have the gold emblems front, rear, door locks, and key surprisingly. I’ve been trying to figure out if it’s a dealer installed option or from the factory that way.
@07GtS197 I am in Buffalo, NY or Grand Island actually. However, I did grow up in the city.

My mom is from Niagara Falls, my grandparents still live there. And I have cousins in Kenmore.

As far as the emblems I believe it was a factory thing but it’s been a while since I read about it.

dealers loved to do this in the 90s. It was just another add-on that they tagged to the price of the sale.

Just saw your thread and your GT Convertible is sharp looking! Have you posted any more information about mods or things you have done with your GT?

Thanks man. The car is 100% stock right down to the 1995 dated plug wires.

I’ve considered building the top end and maybe an x-pipe upgrade. Thinking about AFR 165 50 state smog heads with maybe an Edelbrock intake. Thinking probably 60-70 hp bump. This is all speculation at the moment as I’m putting a blower on another project this winter. As anemic as the GT is in stock form, I do appreciate that it’s survived 27 years without being touched.
