New to the site. Have 98 vert cobra

Hello and good morning guys!! My name is Will. Im a memeber of the corral and chicagoland mustang club. But I am new to here.. Ive got a 98 trpl blk vert cobra. Its actually been down for over 2yrs cuz of multiple issues. But i think we are now just a few weeks away from goin bak to the dyno hopefully.. The last time we trid to dyno(early May iirc) my motor broke due to a broken impeller pc.that made its way down to the #8 piston and caused damage. So fast forward a bit, now we have a low mile 03/04 cobra shortblock installed wth a novi 2200 wth treadstone a2a and maxflow bov, wth 3.33 8rib,10%o.d.innovators west bal., snow perf.kit,short runner intake,imrc delete ,accufab t.b.,pro m blow thru,60lbs inj.,340intank,vortech bap,etc.,etc., Im so anxious to finally get back on the road. Ive still got to upgrade my tranny and my fuel system. Hopefully this winter. But for now ill just be happy to be able to drive it before winter..lol. P.s. anybody hav an idea of where ill be hp wise? Im hoping for 600ish rwhp and 500ish rwtq.

So added a few pics. Mind u my car as i said has been down for over 2yrs and its been sittn outside. I kno it looks absolutely horrible rite now,.but as soon as its running again correctly i can then get my new emissions cleared licence plates. Which will allow me to drive it legally and get it completely detailed in and out.. I cant wait to clean it up. I will put up more pics then..
Also some of the pics show my setup when i had a little s trim wth vortech aftercooler. At that time we were @14lbs 512rwhp 430rwtq. But now ive got many upgrades since then. I know it doesnt look very nice rite now but it will be back soon!!! Wth new dyno #s cmng..few weeks..hopefully..lol

Ok, are you running a water/meth kit as well as intercooled. Or the snow performance ice box. I dont see why you wouldnt hit your 600 mark, if not more.

A good tune goes a long, long way. Not just for numbers but for longevity also. Alot of guys run those centri's and love them but personally when you eventually want more, the lag in them is horrible lol. You might run into that now.
Anyway, super nice car bud, looks good and looks like good work also. Keep the pics coming and let us know how you make out!

Lol. Good question.. ya see when i bought the car it came wth a ram air hood that i just couldnt stand. So i found a stock cobra hood and put it on but i didnt like the way it fit as at high speeds it would bounce a bit. So i put the hood pins to keep it from popping up on me.. then really fell in love wth the look.. idk, just me i guess.. I never thought about it like why would u put hoood pins on stock hood?..lol. but it also good to kno when im rippin on it good that the hood is 100% not gna fly up on me as I hav seen it happen before.. Granted not a stock hood but still could happen..lol.

Cuz the last 3 times ive tried to dyno my car, the 1st time being feb.of thsi yr,..anyway all 3 times something bad happend and oil from either my car or my sc headunit ended up alll over his very clean dyno room floor... Of coarse it wasnt intentional but it did happn 3x in row.. Mike Post has been very helpful wth me but i just feel bad bout bringing my car bak to him.. I sure hope and pray this would be the last tune for at least couple yrs.. But we will see.. As long as everythings holds up this time I trust Mike Post very much to give me a great tune for my setup.. Cant wait. I should prob.mak my appt.soon for bout 3-4weeks from now..

Im all for added protection and water meth is a good way to do it. I know some people will say the opposite but it is sound science. Your oil issue...isnt a paxton plumbed into the motors oil system? Was it just a bad line or seal or do you have a stand alone self oilling one? Trusting your tuner is very important and it sounds like he knows what hes doing. I wouldnt sweat it hes probably more than used to it lol.
