I'll never understand why mustang owners feel the need to stuff the biggest tire in the wheel wells like they got tons of power or something.

Biggest tire? nope? I've had 245/45/17s for two years, I felt like upgrading. I like the look of wide tires, I like these tires I picked, I have 200 hp.. Who gives a **** what size tire I put on? I have bolt ons and gears, the cars not fast at all. But in the end I don't feel like I have to justify why I picked what I did. K thnx bai.

On a street tire it really doesn't matter how wide it is, you still won't get shit for traction. That being said I love me some 10"+ wide wheels on an sn95. It looks badass.

Shit man I'm rolling on 245/45/17 Goodyear Eagle GT's that are from like 2009.. They spin through 1-2 like nothing.. So these continentals will be a nice upgrade, overall better ride etc. Agreed, wider looks better.

I actually got compliments on my tires when I was running sumitomo 335s. They looked good and meaty but then we all know they had crap for traction. I would never get another rear wheel that wasn't a 10" wide they just look so much better imo.

Where are the rest of the pics?

Should look good. I think I want 295s next, definitely don't need 315s

Saleen re-pops? One of the best looking wheels on the SN.

Do me a favor, weigh one 10" wheel, and weigh 1 295 tire. Curios how much weight the combo is.

Yep yep this time I went with 18s. One 10" wheel was around 30 pounds, the 295s actually feels lighter than the 255s! The 295s are 27 pounds a piece. So around 57 pounds wheel and tire

Much much better than the factory 245 size! I bet you won't have any issues with rubbing found with the 295s.

Because our cars have fat asses and don't look good with skinny tires.

It's not about trying to show off.

Check my other thread. 295s fit perfectly! no rubbing at all
