Sounds good man! What trans are you thinking about? Built T45 or something different?

They don't offer parts for the T45 so they can be built to handle any substantial power so that is now out of the equation.

I'm going to get in contact with promotion power-train and see if I can get my hands on one of thier 1000hp 3650's. I think I can get that done for under $4k. T56 will end up being closer to $6k after all is said and done.

Lol i know it. I knew they were coming out I just got impatient and decided to make my own. Atleast I know everything fits just how I want it.

It's a shame they don't make any great t45 parts cause they really are a good transmission. About the most you can do is the 26 spline input shaft, forks, forks pads, synchros, shift plates. Dann I love the single rail shift design, I'm Glad the t45 and t56 share this. Have you thought of doing a tko 600?

The only problem is with the tko600 after the bell housing, driveshaft and crossmember I will be in it nearly as much as the tr6060 would cost. Which at that point I would just go to the 6spd.

I had the T-45 Source build my transmission but Zak sold his business to Pro-Force Performance out of Georgia. Their strongest built T-45 is only $2650 but I don't know what the power rating on it is

How long ago did you do this? From what I understand you cant get them beefed up anymore. I have buddy in town that went through T45 Source and had very good luck with his t45.

Back in 2016, which was the same year he sold the business to Pro-Force Performance. Their site is still active so I'm assuming they're still building them

I just sent them an email requesting a quote for their 3650. They too make a 1000hp rated so we will see

Icic bro, I didn't know the pricing was so dang high with those. I know your going to love your t56. My dad still has his 04 cobra that he bought new, and his tranny is still going strong without any problems at all, of course it only has 58K miles on it, and it's still bone stock LOL. He's old.

D&D quoted me $6300 for everything to be a drop in unit.

Setup I bought already has the shifter and belhousing (I bought a used one). I will just need to source a driveshaft, clutch and modify my crossmember. I paid $2400 for mine. I'll probably have around 3600 in it when its all said and done. Tick rates the trans at 750rwtq. I should be in the clear for a long long time.

Tick is a really good company, I've never dealt with them for transmissions but bought a few harnesses from them for my holley setup and always willing to help and super fast shipping

Inspected the motor today. Everything looks great no metal shavings in the pan or oil pickup screen. Internals still look new.

Looks good. You going to pull the main/rod caps and look at the bearings? How do the cylinder walls look?

I prob should check check the bearings. The cylinder walls still look perfect and I can still see the cross hatches.

Remind me....maybe you statedbit earlier, but what pistons are those?

They are the Mahle forged power pack pistons -16 dish.
