Finally doing some assembly stuff now. Hoping to have the motor and trans in within the week.

Looking good man! Engine bay looks super clean. Did you end up doing anything to the engine? Check the bearings or anything?

I pulled 3 rod caps and and 1 main cap. All looked brand new. Decided to call it good after that. Was kind of a pain doing it since I didnt want to tilt the motor too far to the side and lose a bunch of coolant out of the block. No noticeable crankshaft end play so the thrust washers seem to be doing good too. Rotated each piston to tdc so that I could get a good look at all the cylinder walls and they all look great.

I've been thinking about getting the solid mounts myself, so thats good to hear that you've had a good experience with them. I've heard others say that as well. I also like the forward turbo headers, it looks like a smooth design.

Got the motor and trans together and shoved back in the car. This week I will start assembling all the odds and ends

I removed it completely. I just use the throttle screw to control idle. I have no accessories on the motor so no need for it really.

Got my driveshaft today finally. Dynamic Drivelines did a great job and fitment is on point.
