No more hood prop

At carlisle they had a guy going around installing RedLine Tuning hood gas shocks on cars, so i hopped on it! I also picked up some little engine bay dress up stuff such as an oil cap, fpr cap, and windshield washer cap. Heres 2 pics:

thanks for the compliments guys!! I'll snap a few shots from the front sometime tomorrow for ya'll.

I asked the guy about installing them on aftermarket hoods, and that is the purpose of them. He said they even work fine with carbon fiber hoods. Every kit has a 2 year warranty on it as well! Can't beat that. I absolutely love how it looks. :bunny3:

yup buddy, there ya go. Only difference between the kits are the powdercoating/polished. They work/look great though! Good luck man.

some crazy ass $900 dollar tool that redline tuning bought that he showed me. Other than that just need to rivot the 2 brackets and screw the others.

im guessing they hold the hood up with a strong feel to them right? I had those type of supports on my 01 Jeep and they worked well :boink:
