Has anyone run NPI cams in a PI swapped 4.6L?
I am PI swapping heads and intake into my wife’s 98GT. I found a good set of 5.4L Windsor heads but one of the cams has a couple spots of rust. I’ve got an ad in the wanted section for a new cam, but if I can’t find a cheap set, what is the impact of using the original NPI cams with the PI heads. My understanding is the NPI cam has more duration and less lift. For a daily driver car. Will, there be any noticeable difference between the PI and NPI cams?
