Off-Road H or X Pipes, Where to find them?????

I think lower gears, higher numerically, will be the best seat of the pants feel for more horsepower. Your engine won't have more horsepower, but you will swear it does because it has more get up and go! I went from something like 3.08 to 3.73 and couldn't be happier.

I went from 3.08 to 4.10 this spring and am really not that impressed with the difference.

You might not go any faster, but you have got to admit you get there quicker!

This is getting pretty far off the off-road pipes topic...

It really depends on the low-end torque and 1st and 2nd gear ratios if it feels different. If you already have enough torque to break the tires loose adding more torque with a deeper gear will only break the tires loose easier.

I can attest to a great feel difference when I went from a 3.08 to 3.55 in a bone stock '89 GT. Every gear felt stronger. I'm about to do the same in my '94 Cobra.

You don't end up any faster because you are forced to shift to higher gears at lower MPH.
One downside is you almost always get worse fuel economy with deeper gears.
