OK lets talk engine swap ONE more time

Well it seems I will be doing this sooner than I thought do to recent changes in employment.I have read that the 5.4 is a fairly straight forward swap w/ adapter plates for the intake,but let's talk 3V 5.4,has anyone seen/heard of this done?Would the rewiring and such be so bad that this shouldn't even be a consideration?How about if I had access to an 07 5.4 with less than 8000 miles on it as well as any of the needed sensors/harnesses for dirt cheap?Taking that into consideration any thoughts?
