Well convertibles are heavier and the automatic will hamper performance, so maybe 15.2 isn't anything to get too shook up about. You have a great looking car and I'm sure it's a blast to drive. Have fun and be happy.

ya, my buddy hit a 15.2 in his couple auto. so for a vert thats pretty good. the drag radials are alot of help though. put some 3.73 or 4.10 gears in it and you will be in 14's easy.

If you do gears, and you plan on racing a bit, you really ought to get sub frame connectors. Just over $100 for the full length ones. Jegs even has bolt in ones if you dont want to weld.

Go fast and tight budget Not a good combo You only need to shave 3 tenths off to git to 14's but your gonna have to spend some kinda money to do that.

He said he has limited funds. ps-1 is for unlimited funds lol. Try advancing your timing a bit and running 93 octang when you do. And practice some launching. 3 tenths cant be too hard to get.

Ok you want a plan here you go. First adress your tranny, get a shift kit and a Percision Industires TQ converter ( something like a 25-2800 stall ). Next get 4:10's gears, with these alone you will be damn near to breaking in the 13's with sticky tires and a good track/weather.

Next free up some power with exhaust / pulleys / coldair / TB and mass air would give a few hp too. With these mods you can be in the 13's ;)
