OK WHATS WITH THE 16s ON THE 98

When i bought my car used it had 16s on it.. WTF is with that... it has 225/55/16on it.. small little tires.. can i put 245/50.16s on it........ will it rub.or anything..... please let me know.. thx.

itll be fine..

alot of people on here are running with 275's up front and up to 315's and 335's out back.. and those are 17 and 18 inchers..

im running a 245 front on a 18x9 and a 285 out back with a 18x10 wheel. youll be fine with a 245 on a 16 x 8? trust me.

you must be new to stangs you can go MUCH bigger on that pony with no probs...........I have 265's up front and 315's out back, in a 18 inch rim non the less :boink:

don't waist your time on the 16's. save a little more cash and buy some new wheels for that stang! you can get wheel and tire deals for a grand or under on ebay if you look

Ok right on . thats cool to know.. but i wanted to knw.. if i could put 245/50/16. on the Oem rims .. and the rims are 16x7.5 would that hurt the car .. putting those tires on thous oem rims.. thx.. Just for the mean time.. because i got some used tires that size.. and dont want to put them on the rims and them not fit on the car.. jst wanted to knw if anyone has tryed it... thx again.. for all the help
