So like the title states, I need opinions on what is a good 5 speed transmission for a 95 that will be putting anywhere from 500-580 rwhp. Got the stock 1 in now and even though I do not plan on seeing the track more than maybe once a year, I know itll be a ticking time bomb. So any suggestions are helpful thanks!

Why would he go with a T45 for a 5.0?? I'd pick up a 3550 for it man. Should be plenty for ya.

3550 can handle 500+ to the wheels and launching between 3-4k? Just curious and also what does that usually run to buy?

3550 is a pile of shit. If you're going to spend the money on a 5 speed, get a TKO600. Preferably from Liberty Gears.

Although a built auto is amazingly fun with a turbo.

Well I'm not going to do a built auto so that's out
But I'll look at those options and see what's what.
If your gforce can handle your car, being mine won't be to far behind, I don't see why it couldn't handle mine.
    Thanks guys

Does everything bolt up to it from my stock t5? Like shifter and I can keep my 3.73 gears? I saw on JEGS they are priced at 2600-2700.. I presume that's pretty much what they go for?

Oh okay I found it. So pretty much a G force T5 with a g force case all brand new is looking about 3k roughly right? Have you launched your car yet? If so where do you usually launch it at RPM wise.

Great bunch at promotion, had them do a 3650 set up for my car. They offer a wide variety of trannyies and build capabilities, I would definetly call them and get there input. I also spoke with G-force before I decided to go with promotion

I'll definitely check them out for sure thanks man. I'm in no rush cause I'm still getting my block built and everything so a tranny is down the road but I'm glad I have some options now
