Opinions needed! Wheel Content Inside!!

Okay so Im bored with my XXR's, Looking for opinions on this deal.

For those of you who dont know. I have the XXR 521's in 18x8.5/10 in Matte Black.



I have a guy wanting to trade me a set of Varrstoen ES1 in Silver with Polished lip in the sizes of 18x9.5/10.5

Personally, I LOVE the wheels on your car now. They go perfectly with the stance, wing and hood!

Their basically the same though. Only differences are the Varrstoen's are wider all the way around. And the fronts have a nice lip unlike the fronts on my XXR's. Plus the XXR's are unilug and I have grown to not like the look compared to the Varrstoen's. Also, they Varrstoen's come with a set of 315/30/18 Hoosier DR's on the rears where right now I have mismatched tires on the rears of mine. I would definitely consider painting or powdering them Matte Black with Gloss Black Lips though.

That doesn't sound bad then. I guess what I meant by that was that the style of wheel they are and in black also goes really well with the rest of the car. Now that you mention the tires and the bigger lip I would have to change my opinion lol. Especially if you did like you said and matte blacked the spokes with a gloss lip. That would look awesome!

Edit: Was thinking you were talking about being tired of the black wheels also and wanting to try a different finish by getting those. We're on the same page now lol.

Here is a little better comparison of just the fronts. Notice the bigger lip on the V's and how the "wheel bolts" arent in between the spokes. Looks cleaner to me. Plus Im getting an extra 1" on the fronts so I can run my 285/30/18 KDW's and then an extra 1/2" on the rears for my 295/35/18 KDW's

Do it! I've never liked the 521's in all black at all. The Varrstoens look awesome though.

I would do the trade, I think it would lighten up the car a bit more and make it look better.
