I really do think that the sn95 chassis with a small block v8 is the best thing since the 993 Porsche 911 in terms of true analog driving experience. Sure not right out of the box, but the sn95 offers more...it lets you make it your own.

That said, it’s so hard working on this damn car by myself while taking pictures with greasy/dirty ass fingers. Sorry for the lack of “how to” in all this.

Interesting comparison.

It seems like each one of these cars has a greatly differing driving experience also just within the chassis. My convertible stock drove drastically different than a coupe of the same year (1994). Essentially the same chassis, but driving a Terminator is a drastic change in driving dynamics also.

I agree on the pictures. I do the same damn thing, get going, work, work, work and get done with a project and think "crap, I forgot to take pictures!".

The changes you have made are going to continue to make the car a more unique driving experience! That is what makes this and the original Fox chassis so much fun, there is not a lot that you cannot do to it, plus it is a "bit" cheaper to mod/repair than a 911 Type 993!

That being said, that air cooled flat 6 does sound amazing!

Forgot to mention, was able to move the engine back about 2 inches thanks to the k-member coming with two slots to mount the engine in. Loosened up the trans mount and shifted everything back. Better weight distribution. Because of that the H-pipe didn’t fit so had to improvise to get it to the exhaust shop.

Very nice! I’m still trying to remind myself to snap pictures as I go. (Harder than it seems) This post makes me miss my 95 GT and the room in the engine bay compared to the behemoth 4v that give you no space in my 97. I built a very similar build on my 95 before. It is definitely fun and rewarding when it all comes together and you get to enjoy it with minimal issues. Congrats! Now where’s the burnout video?

Very exciting to see it get finished isnt it. I bet that first ride put a smile on your face:). Its called perma-grin, and I hear that stuff is hard to get off :p. Enjoy that SN. I had a trick flow intake on my fox growing up, and boy did help her breath, bubble boy no more!

Thank you!! I’m gettin antsy to start building the exhaust which is going be very unique.

Going to run the four cats obviously to keep it legal, but then going to use my old Mercedes C63 resonator and mufflers. Should make for an interesting sound.

4 cats?? Is that like a weird built for Cali thing?? All the 94-95’s I’ve seen had 2 cats. I thought only the mod motor cars 96 up had 4.

yeah it’s definitely a Cali thing. My 95 GT I got while I was in Cali and it had 4 cats. Those went bye bye and so did the smog pump and company.
