Anyone swapped out their tank to something else. Not worried about the sensor, I plan on removing those wires

I haven’t looked but I’m sure someone out there is making an aluminum replacement.

Bit of advice. Decide where you are mounting it and measure how much space you have. There are so many options and price ranges but overall space is the big factor. If it's in the bay you may want a brushed or polished unit. If it's tucked a cheap plastic unit will work. I've always hidden mine and use the cheapest plastic unit that fits the dimensions I need it to fit in.

I have an aluminum one but I have had it so long I can't remember who makes it. Only problem I had with it was that it made slight contact with the vortech pulley sitting stock as it should. I moved the condenser and the rad up a bit into the core support and was able to modify its mount to pull it in just enough.

I moved mine behind the left headlight. I built one from PVC and even made the original cap w/sensor fit. it goes next to the radiator from under the car. the cap is positioned in the small space behind the headlight and the fender. used this for years and is super clean and hidden.
