The oil pump gears are prone to failure from harmonics. Especially from hp & rpm's. $350 for a steel gear pump. MMR sells them. If you're automatic I would say dont worry to much about it. The torque converter takes alot of the harmonics. Also a heavy harmonic dampener helps if you decide to keep the pump stock.
