So the front of the car is completely striped, planning to do some metal repair in the common frame rail shock tower area and re-paint the entire front clip.
That being said, now is the time to change the color of the car if I'm going to.
The car left the factory laser red.....

Looking for thoughts and ideas on what direction to take the car paint color wise..

heres where were at currently.

This isnt s 5.0 specific question...

But, respray stock color is the easiest.
If you want a color change, well that's up to your opinion. Check out the "Gallery" maybe?

I moved the thread to appropriate section.

Are you looking for a factory SN95 color? A factory Ford color? A variant of a certain color? Black, white, silver, blue, red, etc?

We're gonna need to figure out at least some direction down first. There's a million different colors out there, it just depends on what you like and/or how much you're budget is for the paint.

I painted my old GT Redfire, looked great and matched the laser red enough where I didn't have to repaint the engine bay

laser red was never known to last all that long an no one likes laser pink

this is true, which is why we cleared my engine bay a number of times (was it twice, or three times? I dont remember) to help with the fading from heat...

Im really liking some of the 2 tone paint jobs ive seen on our cars. Pearl white is always sexy also, but i think it needs a little something to break it up. Burnt orange looks amazing as well, with a touch of black added in.

that the color you're going to paint the 4-door old-man-mobile?

Actually that is one reason I almost passed on buying this car, color was too close of a match to what the Mustang was :)

I have never really been a fan of green cars myself until I saw the Deep forest green available in 94. I love how on a nice bright day its metallic green is nice and bright but as soon as dusk hits, or your on the side of the car the shadow is casted on it looks black.
