Painting Valve Covers with Pleasant Surprise

The upper intake and valve covers both had peeling paint that we wanted to address. The valve covers had never been off and it was really a challenge to get them to release. However everything looks really good for 25 years and 137K.

What color are you painting them? And have you done it already or is this just prepping and the painting is coming?

I’ve seen several do the wrinkled black and it always looks good

We just painted them black like original and replaced the Cobra decal on the left side.
