Parasitic draw FOUND, Generator, but why?

So, found my draw. 250mA being drawn by 20a microfuse for generator. Replace fuse and pull the alternator (new unit from LMR) pigtail harness and draw drops 250mA again. Voltage test my pigtail harness. R side 12.3V, L side 11.2V, middle 50mV (I think it's open). WTF? Help me!!!

I knewa guy that replaced 3 alternators each one blew the diode
Some where in the electrical there was a wire crossed
Just check everything over in the charging loop

I think I’ve said it a few times in a few different threads but I had that happen to a newer alternator in a crown vic. It seems to be common.

You need to find the same year as yours and compare
The wire sequence or Google the wiring

Well, mine lines up like yours. It has to be a junk alternator. There's no issues with circuit wiring. What should a "sleeping" Mustang GT draw mA wise? Is 125mA acceptable?

I pull the 20A fuse and the green/red wire shows 12.8V yellow/white is 0. Install fuse and both show 12.8V car off. WTF?

Like I say if you take a few alternators that went to shit
Back to the store for warranty
They may question the electrical system on your car

Okay found another draw. Maxi #6. 40A. PCM/Instrument cluster. Pulled that fuse and draw drops to 2.5mA

Does the green wire at the alternator have voltage with key off? Are you checking at the alternator connector?
