Parking Light Not Working?

if the switch was bad neither light would work. The fact you have power in one would lead to a bad connection after the switch just need to figure out where. Someone might have wired in a different set of fog lights with an external relay or something that made a connection on the wire that eventually gave out.

dont have fog lights. But ive read the switch gets hot and melts wires sometimes

the switch is known to melt but again that would mean that neither would work. Someone might have had a bad set of fog lights wired in at one time thought and hit the parking light wire up under the hood because it was easy for them.
