went up to Snowbird last wednesday after a snow day (tues). about 1 1/2' of new snow, and a nice clear day. It was great. Me and the wife took off for a nice day together. :-* That's the Salt Lake valley there at the bottom - you can see my house. SERIOUSLY, the snow here is awsome!! if anyone wants to come to Utah and board or ski, I'll go up with you. Just let me know. I am serious. would love a chance to hang out, and pull a day off work. Check out the snow we got
Over here in PA it sucks. We've had about 1 month of winter so far and it's starting to get warm again... Looks like fun though. How far are you from mammoth?
Damn whos that stud in the first pic! I wish I lived somewhere like that! Looks like ya'll had a blast
that snow looks so perfect, and that mountain is like 10 times bigger than the one i got to. What kind of board and bindings you got?
Where's Mammoth? Some guy just standing there :dunno: My board is a Never Summer, bindings are NGW's? I've had it for 10 years, love it (if it get's cold enough)
before last year i had a mongoose board lol (pos), and at the beginning of last year i bought a brand new salomon transfer with drake gt bindings, half way through the season someone stole it, it sucked so bad i talked to security, and all they could do was show me a video of them walking off with my board, now i ride a nitro revenge with evol bindings
i like the nitro, i just wish i could have my old bindings on this board cause i think drakes are top of the line
I need to get some good boots. I'm renting them now, the ones I had were to painfull. they cut off the circulation bad, I'd have to stop mid run and loosen the binding for a min. I need some that are FIRM, but won't cut off the blood flow!! you guys ever tried the fitted kind?
i just got burtons for christmas and they are very good. I used to have that problem of my foot going numb on my front foot, what i did to solve the problem was loosen up the front bindings when i get to the bottom of the mountain just enough so my foot wont fall out when im going back up
I just got back from Mont Tremblant in Canada. I did a lot of glade boarding, the snow in the glades was awesome..fresh powder. The only bad thing was there was record breaking lows everyday I was there. I would really love to get out west sometime..maybe in a few years.
