Greetings all,
I'm preparing for the Pi half-swap but am having lousy luck. The first manifold I purchased turned out to be a Dorman replacement (shame on me). Now the second one I ordered from a salvage yard has a broken coolant line nipple at the rear and some sort of damage to the plastic coolant ports where the aluminum crossover is mounted. It's like some of the plastic is broken off on the inside of the port and exposing torn rubber seals on both sides. Are these replaceable? Can I run a ring of sealant around it and call it good? I'm already looking at having to trim down the old coolant nipple and tapping in a new fitting. Paid 150 for this thing. Would rather make it work than drive two hours to return it and pay a double for a new one, but I'm open to all suggestions at this point.
