Those damn Ford and Anderson cam tools had people swapping cams without removing the chains back in the day. Thankfully they are not popular anymore.

I bought one of those back in the day. I messed with it and fought with it and ended up saying screw it and pulling the cam sprocket off and holding tension on it with one hand and swapping cams with the other hand. That was actually easier than getting that stupid tool to work...
