The new hotness...
sweet, looks like its in great shape?! stock?
nice, great buy!
Looks lowered, definitely in better shape than mine was when I picked it up. Make sure you do all the maintenance stuff on it like the fuel filter, pcv valve, oil and air filters and fluids, that way you know the car will last. I just changed my fuel filter (along with all the mentioned) and it had the stock one on it from 96 :nonono:
thanks guys. I will do all the maintainance. But right now its only got 45,000 miles on it.
Good find with low miles..............May I suggest a 4:10 or 4:30 gear swap along with long-tubes, X-Pipe and a nice after cat exhaust :dancing6:
Dunno about the gears, because I need drive the highway quite a bit. As for the exhaust it will definetly come, just have to pay it off first.
It has eibach sportlines on it now, and a steeda sts.
Well 3:73's could be a compromise if you do a LOT of highway driving. I can tell you FIRST hand there is nothing like putting some good gears in a 4-valve..............its night and day PERIOD I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend it
wow great low mileage car!!!! sweet find!!!! i also support gears!!! i would say at least 4.10s but 3.73s are better than stock and u wont lose any mileage.i got 3.73 on a sohc and it made a difference wish it had 4.10s though , and a dohc likes even more gears.
greatttt looking car man! sooo clean! and :khobra: its already sittin great, what are you planning on doing to it?
not trying to steal your thread either, just a quick question. is there much of a difference in 3.73's and 4.10's (which would i go with) in gas mileage, overall better gear? because thats going to be my next mod after wheels i think.
Nice score on the ride
Waste of $$$ streight-up, 3.27 to 4.11's is 800rmp jump, 3.73's to 4.10/11's isen't enough. Gas milage only start's drop off after like 65-70'ish. keep at 60-65'ish you might loose 1 or 2 mpg. 4.30's @70+ is 2-5mpg drop off. Condishion of car is also a factor.
good looking ride bro!! :thumb: love the wingless look. majority of people out there don't like our bodystyle w/o the wing but personally i think it looks cleaner. just add some fatties out back to complement the wingeless look 8)
Good lookin Cobra, it is nice to see one in a color other than white or black.
VERY nice, congrats on the purchase.
