I put mine on a lift after I got it and pressure washed the underside clean. So I could undercoat it later.

Do you mean the black wire with the orange insulator on the end? That is the speedometer sensor that plugs into the tranny (I think). I have one of those rare creatures called an "automatic transmission". Y'all have probably never heard of one of those, as most gearheads like to have total control of what gear they chirp the tires in ;D. I, however, am lazy; so I built up the automatic with a performance valve body and a high still torque converter. Still fun to drive!

after reading this thread i went out and powerwashed under the car a bit. I think when i pull the tranny out i am going to undercoat it all. it looks like shit :nonono:
