So, I have the 98 GT premium wheels. I've tried and tried to find these rims black on a Mustang but I cannot seem to find one to save my life. So if anyone knows where I can find them, please let me know. I'm thinking about plasti dipping my wheels for various reasons. The wheels are in great shape so I'd rather dip them than paint them. I just have no idea what they would look like. Black on red seems to work out great on these cars but i'm not so sure about these specific wheels (mainly because the bulky center caps). If no one can come across a picture, I'll upload my own and maybe someone could photoshop them black? Looking for gloss black. I appreciate it if so. I drive my car in the winter so I'm trying to keep my wheels in the best shape possible.

I'm definitely not a fan of black wheels, but go ahead. The best thing about plasti dip is if you don't like it, peel it off!

I just dipped the wheels on my focus, gun metal with silver metalizer. I would recommend taking the wheels off the car, makes it much easier.

JonBeast used to have some painted black premium wheels on his vert back in the day. Couldn't find any pictures from a google search, maybe he will chime in with some.

Those are chrome? Even cooler! I thought they were silver. I use to have chrome split spokes and it was pretty hard to let them go.

Red cars don't look good with black wheels IMO. Polish them chrome!!

You can always get another set on craigs for ultra cheap and save those. That style can be had for $200 for a set all day long out here.

Those aren't chrome. They're machined aluminum.

I personally think this plasti-dip fad in the mother of all redneck shit, and thus would never allow it anywhere near my car. If you really want to do it right, powdercoating is the way to go.

And for the record, I've seen those wheels in black and IMO they look terrible. I'd vote to leave them the way they are.

I'm kinda partial to the black wheels but I gotta say those wheels look perfect as they are. I'd keep stock
