Gotta go slow on the spending. My other money hole wants to play and it really knows how to spend big. Someday if Knights Armament gets off their butts my AN/PVS-30 will be finished being repaired and it can take its place in front of the scope.

Very nice Sir, where is the treadmill? Where do you deadlift?
Awesome home gym
Thank you. When Covid hit and all the gyms shut down I wanted to invest in having almost everything I needed for a decent lift in our basement. Have a peloton bike for the winter months, and utilize the school track in the neighborhood for running in the warmer months. Squat rack for all my squat, deadlift, bench press needs 2254822D-6CA6-4D3D-B24F-18AF1753B8DA.jpegC5D600B6-C527-40DC-9A5F-B5CB230CB5E2.jpeg

I run at the school track as well. I also trail run every now and then. Just got me some new trail running shoes. I Got me some brooks. I wanted to try out the Salomon brand but when I tried them on they had too much arch and that bothered my foot so I went with the brooks.
I want to buy an assault bike but they are pricey and I don’t have that much room left in my gym.

I got the Bowflex bike and that was a shit decision. Without paying for the $20 per month subscription it's a brick. I have manual mode and that's it. Wish I had gone with a traditional fitness brand like Life Fitness or something like that.

I really wanted to pick up a good home gym setup. Then the ex decided to become an ex and that blew up that idea. The room I rent now is relatively cheap and super close to work but it doesn't provide enough space for anything but the essentials. My workout equipment consists of a 15lbs free weight and a 25lbs free weight. Thankfully my office has a gym that's not super well appointed but it at least has a bench/squat setup along with plenty of free weights and the old stand-by's of a bike and a treadmill. I've finally pushed past my default lazy setting and have been getting off my arse daily for a few weeks to do half an hour working out. I'm back to my fighting weight having dropped 25lbs since September and I'm starting to see improvements in mass and definition particularly in the abs and shoulders. I have to be really careful about pushing it thanks to a genetic condition that gifted me with loose joints that lead to frequent dislocations. Many of my joints I already have to consciously hold in socket or they'll droop and dislocate.
