I know all to well about Mikes pulleys. I ran them almost 20 years ago. Pretty sure he still uses a shot of my bay as his site header. I've had that PS pulley off numerous times with no issues. Not saying that you can't F it up but I guess that all depends on your mechanical ability. If you are a caveman I would expect to buy a couple of them lol
That’s good to know. Proper tools go a long way

New White Knight lugs in… 3rd pic is the BEFORE” picture.
Anyone need used, black, splined lugs? Need paint, but fit and seat perfectly.

Seat’s next!

ON EDIT: Sparco sending a replacement. Be here Thursday/Friday.++

Anyone want a set of used, black splined lug nuts with key? Just need paint (?). PM me if ya want em.

Well, had a big week for the Mustang. I've really not touched it the last year. I'm back on it. I like when someone is trying to clear their garage and is willing to share the wealth with fellow Mustang addicts. Anyways, i ended up with a bumper cover that is far less pitted than mine, an 01 hood, and best of all some 03 Cobras in like new condition. 01 hood.jpgbumper cover.jpg03 cobras.jpg

Picked it up this morning…
Inserts feel great! I believe the thigh and torso supports will be just what the doctor ordered. Can’t wait for the shoulder to be well enough to install it!
I really like those. I need new seats and have been watching for a long while now for mach 1 or bullitt seats. no luck yet.

I have ‘95 Cobra seats available. And, if you buy one or both, I can get the matching passenger Sparco seat ;-)

Installed these today. Much recommended. Ripped my new tank pads off my new tank fighting to get it installed with no luck. These are a game changer.
Thanks for the post. I know there are going to be a few of us on here that’ll appreciate that. Mine are all jacked up and I’ve just learned to deal with it.

The studs make it so easy. Those stock bolts are just way to short in my opinion

Seat is repaired and in place, finally! The Sparco GT sits +\- 3”-4” (eyeball guesstimation) back compared to the stock seats, which means the LNR seat extensions will get returned. For reference, in the pix, both seats are locked all the way back for depth comparison.
And as far as height difference between stock and the Sparco, IMHO, negligible, if any, maybe 1/2”-1” MAX.

But man, what an immediate and noticeable improvement. Legs/quads support isn’t too pronounced to make pedal play affected at all. In fact, slightly improved by keeping legs more straight forward and aligned with the pedals.

The BIG difference is the torso/lat support. I’m 5’9” 180lbs and on the slightly portly side in the midsection. Hey, I like beer what can I say?! These bolsters fit me perfectly! Can’t wait to throw it around some twisties :)
The last pic is me trying to reach across to show you the perfect fit along my torso area. Not sure it translates, but…

at 5'10" 180 I can say the corbeau GT2 seats I have are going to be tight on most people. For the average person it is not an uncomfortable tight but more of a held in tight, but my fat friends do not like them and with the alcantara/napa option, I can't say I don't wince a bit seeing the bolsters stressing under them....

If I were to replace my Corbeau race seats, I'd put something like that in. My issue is, no need to recline because the roll bar cross is there and reclining is useless. But a comfortable seat would be good. I use 3/4" foam for butt and lower back on a long trip.

Hey, whatever works! Couple pieces of foam is a heck of a lot less expensive than $700 +\- for a whole new seat. I chose to pull the trigger on the seat/ancillaries because I was THAT TIRED of sliding around in the stock seats. Father’s Day gift approved by my wife :)

Not to worry. Car sees 1.5k per year, mostly track miles. I do drive to NV once a year just to get the bugs out. ;)
