Nice grab, Indy! Are you going to leave them as is or ??? For stock brakes, I have been quite pleased with their performance. Had mine powder coated black to match, popped in some Akebono pads and haven’t looked back. Cheers!

Mishimoto Race 180* Tstat. Gonna try this, see if it helps.

I scraped and wire brushed both surfaces, which of course lead to wire brushing the entire water neck… which of course lead to clear coat.

It’s an incessant sickness this obsession!!

Oh crap! I got it all buttoned up and it leaked! What’s this new invention you’re supposed to use called “a gasket” or something like that?!!!

Forehead-smacker! “Boy, you ain’t got the brains of an ice cube”!

Picked one up @ NAPA; pop it in tomorrow. Apparently today’s just NOT my day!

if you have not got one already, get a zero spill funnel for when you fill and burp the system. I had temp issues with mine and I was sure I had ran it long enough to burp the air out but I was amazed that with the zero spill that 45 mins of idling was still leaving some bubbles.

I installed power stop pads and rotors about 8 years ago and only have maybe 10 miles on them, can’t attest how good they are or brake dust but my plan is to utilize them for now and leave the calipers natural looking

I hope you have better luck than I did. Mine was for a 302, but all the same. Went through 4 in the last 2.5yrs, one lasted 5mos. My first lasted 4.5yrs. Now I run a crank trigger and got rid of that POS. Also just switched over the Panoz to crank trigger when the DS lasted 30mins!

Latest purchase was some new silicone adapters and t-bolt clamps for my vortech discharge tube.
I was then able to take the Saleen to the dyno this week.
Was expecting around 500hp, but was pleasantly surprised to make more!
There was plenty left on the table with timing, but I left it very conservative (only 14 degrees total at 6K rpm) as it makes enough to split this stock block!
Hope you enjoy the vid!

I can’t wait to dyno my dart block 347. Those numbers are great

New hood latches, upper door covers and a couple other inconsequential hardware bits.
I was luke warm on the door covers but after the 5 second install I like em!

Super happy something like this is finally available. Easy fix for a long time issue of floor mat staying in place after the hook dislodged from the carpet. $30 @ LMR.
