I have been watching a video series of a guy with a denali that has been told it is normal for it to burn 1/2-1 quart of oil per 2k miles or something crazy and he has to constantly add oil to the motor to keep the low oil light on. And only for $100k....
Yes it’s crazy. A lot of the new 6.2 are stacking the crank bearings and locking up also

Still waiting on the steering wheel actuators(?). But will begin re-installing steering column in the meantime. Wanted to yesterday but it rained pretty good all day (always much needed here in Cali tho)

I have been carrying the smaller one for 15 yrs now as my EDC and it has done well but I use to have a spyderco tenacious and always liked it and wanted another so I upgraded.

and then shortly after I got to see how sharp it was. I got one of those bubble wrapped envelopes with a small package in it so I grabbed my new knife to cut it open. I just wanted to cut the top layer to open it up and barely put any pressure on it as I dragged it across the top and to my amazement it went through the first two layers of the receipt like it was butter.

yup I had one maybe 20 years ago and have been kicking myself for losing it since I did. This one does not look like it will disappoint me, I am lucky I hardly put any pressure on that opening or it might have gone straight through and I think I had my hand out of the way but....

Not really a purchase but spent a night drawing up a GMRS and iPad mount for the V10 truck and had a buddy 3D print them for me today. I’ve got a RAM mount on the way that will bolt up on that hump on the top to mount the iPad. Should be pretty slick when I get it finished up and not too intrusive.
