Well I guess I might as well post up. A couple weeks ago I traded the F150. It was a little sad but I had enough. The transmission was junk, the stupid glove box broke literally in the parking lot at the dealer, it almost got me killed a few times and it just wasn’t me. I took it to the dealer I bought it from and they told me they wouldn’t see it until September, maybe. I’m not going to let a two year old truck sit so that was the last straw.

Well I got back into an s550. It’s another 17 gt performance pack but this one has all the bells and whistles unlike my last one. A couple of mods were done by the last owner. It has black out tail lights, aftermarket upper and lower grille, Ford Racing quad tip exhaust, wheels and a short throw shifter (unknown brand). The wheels are definitely not my taste but are wrapped in like new nittos so I’ll run them for now. Oh and it has some suspension mods and coilovers so it’s a little stiff but it handles fantastic. This one is going to be a weekend warrior so hopefully I won’t get tired of it too quickly lol. I daily my crown vic so that shouldn’t be an issue.

ya know I am almost surprised that hoods do not get damaged more often but they are both bigger than throwing size for the throwers/carriers and probably too big to go through the automated systems.

They usually go freight don't they? Freight usually gets more of the kid glove treatment.

Found a deal that was too good to pass up on some 03 Cobra wheels. They are gloss black 17x9/10.5s They are literally brand new, still in the boxes. Not sure what I'll do with them just yet. I may repaint them, not a fan of entirely black wheels.

That's definitely a good score. They'd look great on my Oxford White Conv.
