    I've searched and couldn't find a thread with 1/4 mile times and your combo, so post um up![​IMG]

    Im going to guess you were right lane. Not bad times you could pick alot of time if you were on getting your 60' times lower. One number in the 60' is two on the big end.

    Thanks, the second pass was a 1.71 60. Bent a pushrod top end, turns out comp guideplates don't like stock pushrods.....

    its not the guide plates, its your springs. You need a set of hardened pushrods. I suggest Comp Cams Hitech chromoly.

    Thats what I used, comp chromoly, when I put it back together I actually clearanced some of the guide plates, the pushrods fit right in a few.

    You might need a set of adjustable guideplates. I have found, many times, that different heads have different valve offsets, and require specific or adjustable plates.

    Thanks adder, if I have any more problems I will swap those guide plates out.
