Power after these mods?

I know it's not all about how much hp you're making...but what do you think I'll be at after all of these mods? I have a '96 GT. I am installing a 2002 PI engine with the following on it:

-VT Stage 1 cams
-Ported and polished C&L plenum and 70mm throttle body
-Tunable inductions cold air intake
-BBK shorty headers

I have on my car right now a Bassani catback with O/R X pipe. I am also getting an SCT dyno tune after the install. What do you guys think I'll be pushing?

Are the heads on the PI motor stock, or have they been ported or polished?

They are stock PI heads. Don't have the money to get them P&P right now.

i would take a stab in the dark and say you will be putting close to 250 at the wheels with that, but im not sure, you could easily be higher

the PI motors usually do around 225-230 with a manual trans STOCK, so with the mods you have listed you should be well over 250. Probally in the neighborhood of 270rwhp I would say

you will gain about 80rwhp...

40 from the pi engine swap
30 from the cams
10 from the rest...

you may pick up another 10 or so from the dyno tune.

PI swap with dyno tune I'll say 240 at the wheels. I did this swap had everything P&P with every single bolt on you can think of. Check out my signature for for info. I haven't even tuned mine yet.

So, you guys are saying between 250-270? I was thinking maybe more like 280. Anyway, regardless of how much power, I'm thinking I'll be able to run low 13's with all of these mods, at least. I don't have gears yet, but I am thinking about getting 4:10's. After that, my car will really move.

The hp is hard to guess but some where in that range will be where you are, closer to the 270 mark I think. With those 4:10 gears some sticky tires and the hp you should have, low 13's will be nothing for this combo. I would be looking to crack a 12.99 if I were you

With good cams, P&P and a GOOD tune, I've seen 320 to the wheels on the headswap.

I did mine, Auot trans, Denver elevation, average tune and got 285 to the wheels.

I ran 13.2 @ 109 with my setup and some DR's. After I tune it and the ATI gets on my car. I will be looking to crack 11.99. IF I dont then i'll just need MORE BOOST.

American Thunder catback
Mac off road X
BBK 70 mm tb
C and L upper intake
diablo tune

so I would guess somewhere around there or a little more with your shorties

No Way! I'm calling the BS flag on that one...those limited bolt ons are not gonna add 50rwhp to a 02 GT.
Stock 5sp dyno in the 225-235 rwhp range.
cat backs add about 0hp just sound...dyno proven over and over again.
X pipe maybe 10 hp so that would be @ 245hp
tb/plenum have been proven to gain @7 rwhp at the most! so thats 252rwhp...not gonna gain another 30rwhp from a diablo tune on a bolt on NA car.
