Just wondering if there are options/upgrades to the stock power steering rig? I’m ok with it, but I’m just curious???

Not plug and play but you can do the Volvo electric power steering pump. It still uses hydraulic pressure but the pump is electric. In my opinion it’s not worth it unless you coyote swap it.

Not necessarily. EPS uses power only when active. The vast majority of the time, it's idle. Conversely, the hydraulic PS pump is *always* being driven and pumping fluid, drawing HP from the engine constantly.

Daryl: HERE is some good info on converting. I know someone undertaking it on a Foxbody. I can get you connected if you're interested.

I’ve read about people swapping those into other cars but never in a mustang. It would be pretty cool. But for the mod motor guys the Volvo esp is a better choice since the brakes work off the steering pump too. Just a little tidbit.

it can be done I see a lot of modifying the steer coulomb down
and then wiring schematics
but I would try to keep the rack of cores
and have a mechanically incline mad mind to do it
