Hi all, new member here. I have a 94 Cobra pace car. Car is relatively new with less than 2,000 miles. Second one I have owned so obviously really love driving it. Any insight on programming remote? Only one key and remote came with car. I have found the 2 pin connector, near the trunk latch, not on driver side of trunk behind panel. Problem is when I try to short it out nothing happens, door locks are supposed to cycle. Ignition is on. Troubling shooting thoughts?

I followed the YouTube video for my 96 with no problems for the eBay fobs.. Although it wouldn't set both remotes I bought. The one functions fine

I had the two prong connector on the driver side which I shorted to program the fob

In the video, he leaves the metal piece (the short) in until it’s all done. At least that’s my take
