Heading down this weekend to pick up a Teksid and going to be building it slowly over the next few months. Not sure what I'm doing with the exhaust. I kinda like the sound I have now, but I might replace the parts with higher quality units. Having my heads redone and cleaned up with some stage 2 or 3 blower cams. Still deciding on Pistons/ crank/ rods but it's going to be fully forged. Found a set of Probe 4340 I beams for $200 but I'm not sure they'll hold up to 14 lbs of boost from what I've been reading.
I want to build this engine as bulletproof as possible. For the intake I'm looking at a Victor Jr unless I can find a P51 cheap. Down the road a D1SC will be in the works.
Trans is getting rebuilt at the T45source first part of January. It should hold me over until I can afford a wide-ratio t-56 Magnum. Going to buy a separate 8.8 to build outside the car.
White Saleen 18's and coil overs.
New paint with a stalker front cover. Possible a better hood, but still the same design.
End goal is 370 rwhp n/a
590 rwhp FI

And paint!!! Can't wait to get this damn thing painted. That might come before the blower.

Should have the shortblock, trans, and wheels done by spring. Maybe long block together and ready to go in if I can find a deal on the rotating assembly.

I was looking at those side skirts and thinking they looked awfully low. Think its too low for a 2.5" drop? When I get the 18's it should raise the car about .5"

you can get away with a pretty aggressive drop with those sides. i ran around with a static drop on 20's and my sides never scraped. my front bumper never did either. just my k member lol.

I'm just not a fan of the square exhaust cutouts on the rear bumper. I'm going to have to see if I can find a rear bumper that fits the flow but has a different exhaust.

Picked up the seats. This weekend I'll start tearing out the old seats, center console and carpet. Maybe the exhaust and driveshaft and a soon as it warms up, pulling the trans to be rebuilt.

I'm definitely getting them along with the stalker front. Just trying to decide what to do about the rear.

Tony 's car had the stalker rear, IIRC.... you could take a look at his ride for some ideas.

mine never rattled whatsoever. i happen to love those square tips myself but i feel ya. i suppose you could just delete the cutouts then cut a round hole for round tips. some glassing skills would be in order though lol.

I don't think it will be that big of a deal. I can live with one small part of the kit that I don't like, considering the rest of the kit looks good.

Went a different route with the subs. Went to get mine re-carpeted and they said it'd be $70 bucks! Look over and there this guy's sitting there for $60. Smaller and nicer.

Called Corbeau up about one of the bolsters feeling like it had "sunk" into the seat. He said it's common from people sitting on the bolster and degrading the styrofoam. Ordered a new bolster for $25.

Cleaning up the shifter I picked up.

Aaaand finally (for now) installing sequentials
