nice work man. those sequentials splice in?
Thanks. Yeah they're splice in, I'm not sure what brand they are. I've had these laying around for a while. I just bought the entire harness with them almost fully installed so I haven't done any splicing. I just have to fix where a couple off the wires came out of the connectors.

Ok so installing carpet sucks.
Still have a few more adjustments but it's in.

dyrydyza.jpg

After wrestling with that for a while I went ahead and threw in a seat.
Passenger seat and final adjustments coming tomorrow.

Well interior took a little longer than I thought. I was waiting to put in the last seat until I got my system completed. Started having more and more issues then I realized the battery was dying since I hadn't started it in 3 months. Whoops

Taking the battery to get charged and hopefully going to fill in the spoiler holes today.

The grey looks sweet. I have the two tone black and grey and i like it better than all black. U need more than 1 color imo.

Thanks I agree. When I first bought it there were all black leather racing seats in it that looked like crap.
I was just lucky to find the exact seats I wanted for half the price.

Went from here
ba6a9y4u.jpg

To here
veqy5u7e.jpg

I was hoping to find a surprise like a 26 spline input shaft but no... Just more disappointment.
Had plenty of clutch life left but I did find a couple things:

Missing some bellhousing bolts.

Clutch is a cheapy one so don't listen to anything I've said about Spec clutches... All lies

*edit* not a "cheapy" but just found out its a King Cobra. Which is only rated at 315HP so that explains a lot, plus why the clutch was unnecessarily stiff.

TOB wasn't in the greatest of shapes.

Plain old 6 bolt crank so that will be getting replaced in the future.

Btw here's that POS that came out of it.

zery8e8y.jpg

Did some research because I know Valeo made a lot of Ford clutches but this one was unusually stiff. Found out its a King Cobra which is only rated at 315 lb-ft mainly because it is essential a stock style disc and an upgraded pressure plate so I'm thinking at higher RPMs it's slipping a bit. Talked with a couple people and they said usually when a clutch slips it completely let's go and winds up BUT if it has enough clamping force it can just slip a little. My theory is the guy had a nice clutch when I raced and dyno'd it, then wore it out and put in a crappy one it to sell it.

POS TOB vs FRPP TOB

And a gouged pivot pin so I have a new pin and fork.

Hopefully this will take care of my issues.

Trans is back together. Then this came in today...
ba6yzu9a.jpg

Going to try and take a day off work next week to throw it in. Excited to finally get my car back. I've only been able to drive it once since I put the seats in.

Wow I haven't updated this in almost a year. Might as well add to it for my own record.

Well this is the first time I've had a tax return that didn't go immediately to bills. WOO HOO!
List of parts ordered/ received:

99-04 Cobra Cat Back

MAC H-Pipe

Staggered 18" White Saleens

285/35R18 & 245/40R18 Sumitomo HRZ 3s (hell they were cheap)

Sway Bar and new bushings/ links

Replacement passenger fender liner

Strange Coilover kit w/ 10" 350# Hypercoil Springs

Innovate Wideband O2 Sensor

Just got the H-pipe back from getting the bung installed for the wideband. Still waiting on sway bar bushings, tires, front wheels, and new centercaps
And once it warms up I can get into the garage and start polishing up the exhaust.
So now I have a garage full of parts and just waiting on the snow to melt.

Still waiting on the snow and enough time off work to get it on a lift. Ordered the front tires. Figured I'd splurge a bit and get Nitto Invo for the front. Might end up buy new ones for the rear anyway and sell the Sumis or keep them until the nittos wear out. Should be here Saturday along with the front wheels I FINALLY found which will be here Monday. Suspension bushings and Koni adjustable rear shocks coming tomorrow. Going to try and get everything installed on Tuesday as long as we don't get any more snow.

Well at least I'm not alone lol. Same thing every winter... I don't drive it and it gets neglected until winter is almost over and then I'm in a rush to get it ready.

Nitto Invos came yesterday but no one was here to sign so I'll get them Monday with the front wheels.
