hey guys,
I'm working on my sisters Honda. She had the timing chain slip all the research I was able to find tells me this is a interference motor.
I pulled the head and timing chain cover and cant find any damage to the valves, I would of thought if I had a crash it would of been very clear.
So I'm thinking of getting a new chain and put it back together.
Any ideas on how to be sure I don't have any bent valves?
The car is a big time pain to work on so I would like not to take it apart again if I'm wrong.

Looking at the top of the pistons there are pockets cut out for the valve clearence they are all carbon covered except for one on each piston.
There are no gashes or anything it just looks like they have been cleaned or somthing.
It is one of the intake valves.

maybe you should just have the head checked at a local machine shop
