The exhaust on my daughters 2004 3.8/5 spd is toast.
Worked with her husband installing a Pypes x-pipe and stock GT exhaust tonight. Also doing springs, shocks, struts and GT sway bars at the same time.
It appears that the Pypes mid pipes are to long by about an inch. We bought the hanger kit and Im sure all is installed correctly, it only goes on one way.
The mid pipes are seated all the way in the x-pipe and the hangers are installed correctly, the mufflers are on the correct side.
Anything else to consider before we whack an inch off each pipe?
