Question about t5s

Just wondering about the specifics about the t5. I found a good 94-95 v6 t5 for 700 bucks with 70k miles on it. I have a 95 gt, can I technically just bolt the bellhousing up to it and run it? I guess what im mostly wondering is do i have to change the input shaft like the foxbody t5?

Must use the 5.0 bell, so bolt it up and run it.

94-98 V6 T5’s have the same power rating and gear ratios as the 1985-1989 5.0 T5, only slightly different, but with a 265 foot pound rating.

99-04 V6 T5’s have the 90-95 5.0 gear ratios and 300 foot pound torque rating. In fact, 99-04 V6 T5’s are a direct bolt in replacement for 94-95 5.0 T5, with the exception of no speedo gear. Either you modify for a speedo gear, or use a speedcal box.

94-98 V6 T5’s are a direct bolt in, but you will have the 265 foot pound torque rating. If you aren’t going crazy you should be fine, but you should know this in advance.

And yes, use the 5.0 bell housing.

Thats what I figured, I found a 70k car with a t5 for 700 bucks, im gonna talk him down. Car is getting close to getting back up and running so I'm excited!! Thanks buddy
