Well you are cutting it up already & painting it and 5 cents worth of epoxy whatever & it is gone...I just thought such a minor issue & fix was right down your alley...but no worries mate, I'll fix it myself one of these days , it really is in perfect condition otherwise and totally usable as is...not visible when installed.
