alright so this is my official chevelle topic/ I am happy to announce that the frame is done and the rear end is in but it still bare this weekend I will start putting the rear end together I also have a set of baer 12 rear brakes coming in and customs moser axles.
things I have done.

I modified the frame and mini tubed it 2" inboard for wider wheels and tires.
I added bracing to the frame
Frame was powdercoated gloss black.

Rear end
was also cut down 2" and powdercoated with summit rear end griddle. and there is a lot of parts I have had sitting around for a long while the the rear trailing arms well enjoy!!

They sure are nice to use though!

Re: Ranthemans Chevelle Build!!---Frame powdercoated

ok new update but my camera is at my girlfriends so I will take pic on thursday and post them here is what i did today.

Installed Rear shock
installed Rear eibach springs with air bags.
all I need to order for the rear is a custom sway bar and thats it.
What came intoday is
My eaton 3 seires posi unit.
richmond 4.10 gears.
moser 1350 yoke.

Friday I will get my installation kit so I can put the rear end together.
Also I have moser custom alloy axles that will arive next week
and baer 12" disc conversion that 4 weeks b/o then the rear is done completly.

On the front I installed
upper control arms
agr quick ratio steering box.
idler arm
center link

and installed my stainless steel 3/8 fuel line
and front and rear brake lines stainless steel.

all I need for the front is lower control arms and front 13" baer brakes then I am done and it ready for wheels and tires.

Re: Ranthemans Chevelle Build!!---Frame powdercoated

well this car is being made for pro touring. I am running a t-56 6 speed manual with hydrualic clutch with scatter shield. the motor will be a small block chevy stroked out to a 395 with 6 inch rods at 9.45 compression then it will have a fuel injection system with a centrifical blower attached then for the wheels and tires will have 17X11 with 335 in the rear and 17X9.5 with 275's up front so that what my plans are but you will see soon.
