Rare Tail Lights?

I saw one 96-98 light on eBay a week or two ago for $200 buy it now. I was tempted but feared that trying to find a matching side for it would be harder than finding a set...

Just for the record, arent the 96-98 taillights technically 97-98 export lights? I remember reading awhile back that horizontals went on the 96 export models and the 97 model received the updated lights.

Now I def could have dreamed that up but this thread sort of reminded me of it and now I'm questioning myself.
