I went to a Mustang specific garage in my area to get a quote on installing my suspension upgrades to my '96 GT. Because I have a vert, I do want to get a subframe connector installed. The guy quoted me 24 hours labor at $76.50 per hour, and $470 for parts for a lower and inner install. That comes to about $2300. And that's only for the connectors! I've still got CC plates, upper arms, shocks, struts, blah, blah, blah. Is this insane? I know this mechanic is well known, and is apparently very good, but this price seems high.
